IPS e.max now available from Core

IPS e.max CAD combines beauty and high performance for most applications. The innovative lithium disilicate ceramic fulfils the highest aesthetic demands and unites state-of-the-art technology with exceptional user-friendliness.

The material is designed for fabricating aesthetic, high-strength restorations using efficient CAD/CAM processing technology. The glass-ceramic is machined in a "soft" intermediate state in which it exhibits an unusual blue-ish colour. In this state, the material can be manually adjusted or cut back in a few quick and easy steps and the fit can be checked.

Subsequently, the material is crystallized at approximately 850 °C for 20 to 30 minutes. In this process, IPS e.max CAD acquires its final strength of 360 MPa and the desired aesthetic properties, such as tooth shade, translucency and brightness.

You can fabricate restorations for individual teeth, for example, veneers, inlays and partial and full crowns, with IPS e.max CAD. Depending on the indication, the restorations can be conventionally placed.

IPS Empress CAD Multi block features a transition of fluorescence very similar to that of natural teeth, which results in excellent integration into the dentin area. This innovative combination of shade transition, translucency, and fluorescence allows you to create highly aesthetic restorations very easily.
