Advanced digital manufacturing

Core3d is happy to introduce the next stage of our digital dentistry.

Some of you who visited our stand at the DTS show in Coventry would have seen we have been working with materials other than Zirconia. Although Zirconia is still the best aesthetic choice your dentist can make, for most laboratories it is only a small proportion of the crown and bridge work completed.

On the 25th of July 2009 Core3d received delivery of the first 3D systems DP3000 resin printer in the UK. This system will allow us to design and produce resin frameworks for our customers to cast in the material of their choice. We will be able to receive models to design internally as most of customers currently do or receive files from any open scanner. The DP 3000 resin printer is the only system in the UK approved to receive files through the Lava™ Connect System from Lava™ Scanner ST customers.
